The server nexus provides permanent retention of Jetfire storage units for all users. The server nexus is represented by '
Subscription
' workflow.
Storage units
are permanently stored by Server Nexus, typically in a database or file system. The storage units provide permanent retention for:
workflow objects
workflow classes
Audits
Parse Units
strings
arrays
The storage units are logically stored in either a
workspace
or
namespace
.
Responsibilities of the server nexus:
Permanent retention
of storage units.
Enforcing
role
based access rights.
Tracking and reporting concurrency errors.
Ensuring updates are atomic.
Updating
client nexuses
as storage units are created or change.
Providing a search capability for the client nexus.
